According to the newspaper, the websites of Arbeidstilsynet and BankID are both out of operation on Wednesday morning.

The hacker group writes on their websites that they will attack the police, UDI, BankID, the ID gate at Difi, Nav and several other Norwegian websites and online services.

They are also said to have used a picture of Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt on the social media Telegram, where Huitfeldt looks like a mask from the Disney film Maleficent.

No Norwegian authorities have commented

So far, the Norwegian authorities have not commented on the announced attack.

Arbeidstilsynet and BankID’s websites are down. BankID confirms that they are exposed to a computer attack.

Hege Steinsland, Head of Communications at BankID, confirms to TV 2 that their website has been attacked.

– It is a question of a DDoS attack, which is spraying with traffic on the site, Steinsland says to the channel.

BankID and the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority confirm the attack

When asked if they have any indications as to who may be behind it, she answers:

– We do not want to go out with everything we sit on there, she says.

The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority also confirms to NRK that they are exposed to a hacker attack.

– Arbeidstilsynet works to shield and delimit the attack, says department director Vigdis Johnsen in the department for IT and administration at Arbeidstilsynet to the channel.
