Durek Verrett, Celebrity | Durek Verrett started a boy band with Norwegians

Durek Verrett (48) has, together with the actors Lars Berteig Andersen and Bjørn Alexander, Verrett started the band “The Jacketeers”. That’s what VG writes.

A press release states that the band was formed in a clothing store in Beverly Hills, where the band members were to buy outfits for a big party.

– We were at a shopping center to find an outfit for an Oscar party. All three of us tried on the same garish floral suit jacket, which happened to be on sale. We quickly decided to go with the same style of jacket, shirt, trousers and shoes, says Durek.

Now they have released the party song “Afterski i Queill”

– We think the song is fun, and hope the rest of the Norwegian people will join us in dancing on the table, letting go of all inhibitions, singing along and just having fun, says Alexander in the press release.

It is Anders Nilsen who has produced the song together with the fresh boy band. His manager, Aslak Klever, tells Nettavisen that he is very satisfied with the song.

– Anders is very happy about this new fantastic collaboration, says Klever.

Harseler with Se og Hør

There are probably not many who would have imagined that Märtha Louise’s (51) fiance would appear on a Norwegian after-ski song, but the 48-year-old uses the opportunity to make an ever-so-small jab.

It is no secret that Verrett has a strained relationship with the Norwegian press, especially Se og Hør. Now he uses the song to tease with the magazine. That’s what Se og Hør writes.

In the song, the self-proclaimed shaman is heard singing something like:

“In my fancy pansy, Gucci knickers, cross-country skiing with flags and snickers. Dancing just like I don’t care. So take a pic for Se og Hør”.

Se og Hør’s editor, Ulf André Andersen, has been asked what he thinks about Durek’s harassment of the magazine.

– Durek is free to sing about us and we think it’s nice that Durek mentions Se og Hør in the song, it shows that he takes us seriously, Andersen tells Se og Hør.

Brought a child star

Verrett has thus brought the two Norwegians Lars Berteig Andersen and Bjørn Alexander into the team. The two are not completely unknown to the Norwegian people.

Andersen is already known as the child star “Benny” from “Olsenbanden jr.”.

Bjørn Alexander is known from NRK Super and has been a presenter for Supernytt. He has also played in the TV series “For All of Mankind” from 2019.
