Power outage, Elvia | Several hundred households lost power in Sarpsborg and Halden

According to Elvia’s power outage map, a total of 859 subscribers lost power at 07:00 on Thursday morning.

The vast majority of those who are now without power are in Halden, but several tens of subscribers in Skjeberg near the municipal border between Sarpsborg and Halden are also still without power at 09:00 on Thursday morning.

Altogether, there will be around 50 power outages, according to Elvia’s power outage map.

– The power outage is known, crews are working to locate and correct the fault, Elvia says.

Morten Schau, communications manager at Elvia, tells Halden Arbeiderblad just after 09:00 that crews are working on site.

– We have people working on it, and we have connected just over 100 of those who lost power. So far, we have not found any cause of failure, he says.

Just after 10:00 on Thursday morning, it appears from the power outage map for Elvia that several hundred have had their power restored and that work is being done to secure power access to just under 50 subscribers, of which almost half are in Skjeberg.

At 10.20 am, all the affected subscribers have had their electricity restored.
