House prices rose by 1.5 per cent in Bergen in April. Adjusted for seasonal variations, prices rose by 0.8 per cent.

Bergen had a stronger seasonally adjusted development last month compared to Trondheim (+0.2 per cent), similar to Oslo (+0.8 per cent), and weaker than in Stavanger (+0.9 per cent).

So far this year, housing prices in Bergen have risen by 9.4 per cent. This is stronger than in Stavanger (+9.0 per cent), (Oslo 6.7 per cent) and Trondheim (+5.5 per cent).

In April, 751 homes were sold in Bergen. That is 49.9 per cent more compared to the same month in 2023. So far this year, 2,181 homes have been sold in Bergen. This is 4.1 per cent more compared to the corresponding period last year.

In April, 771 homes were put up for sale in Bergen. That is 7.1 per cent more than in the corresponding month in 2023. So far this year, 2,258 homes have been listed for sale in Bergen. That is 2.2 percent more compared to the same period last year.

The average sales time in Bergen last month was 29 days. That is faster than the rest of the country, which had 54 days on average.

The median home in Bergen now costs NOK 3,600,000.
