How important was it that Norway received Christian law? This means that Christian understanding of reality became part of the legislation. The Indian Christian thinker, Vishal Mangalwadi, believes it is comparable to Israel who received the law on Mount Sinai. – What happened to Israel also happened to Norway, he says. – You got a law that became the framework for people to have freedom, security, property rights and human dignity.
