Clear traces at Beirut Kebab after the shooting in Greenland in Oslo

--

On Monday morning, the chef is in full swing at Beirut Kebab, just over a day after shots were fired at the restaurant.

People pass and everything seems to be back to normal, but inside there is a police patrol. They have made the trip to check if everything is in order.

The police are working on the hypothesis that several shots were fired from the street, at the same time as the victim and several customers and employees were in the premises.

– The weapon was found in the street, very close to the crime scene. It has not been verified that this is the firearm that was used during the incident, but it is reasonable to believe so, says police attorney Johannes Hafsahl to VG.

He says that the weapon that was found is a nine millimeter Taurus brand pistol. Cartridge casings were also found.

The bullet marks are clear: a window is covered with brown tape, a chair has a hole in the back, and one of the doors has a clear mark.

A man in his 20s is seriously injured after the incident.

So far, no one has been arrested, but Hafsahl says that there are several people whom the police consider interesting. People with whom they want to come into contact.

– This was not accidental, and we are investigating current lines of conflict in the Greenland area with which we believe this may have a connection, says Hafsahl.

According to the police, it appears that there is a clear relationship between the parties.

The police are also working to map the motive behind the act, as well as whether the person who was shot was the actual target.

Assistance lawyer Bjørn Aksel Henriksen tells VG that he is not aware of anything other than that his client was eating at the restaurant when shots were fired.

– I know there were many people there, so I don’t know if the shots were meant for him. I am not aware that there has been any conflict which means that he should have been the target of the shots, says Henriksen.

The offended man has not yet been questioned due to his state of health.

– I note that the shooting is taking place in a place where there are many conflicts and a lot of other crime. I also note that they have apparently thrown away the weapon, which is eye-catching, concludes police attorney Hafsahl.
