– I have been looking for my brother since Sunday, says Beate Moskvil from Holmestrand. She is now at Skotfoss in Skien, where she is looking for her brother. Now she fears that something has happened to him.
At the weekend he was in Skien visiting a woman. Moskvil last spoke to his brother on Saturday morning. He lives with her in Holmestrand.
– Then he told me that he wanted to come home to Holmestrand, continues Moskvil.
She further says that when she called her brother again on the mobile on Sunday, it was the woman who answered the phone.
– She told me that she had not seen my brother since Saturday afternoon. Then I notified the police, says Moskvil.
She says that the belongings her brother brought with him to Skien were still left behind; including bank cards and mobile phones.
– He would never have left it, she says further.

Annie Sandersen, head of investigation and intelligence at Grenland police station, confirms that the man has been reported missing and wanted by the police nationally on the basis of the missing person report.
Sandersen states that the police started investigating the case in connection with an incident at Skotfoss on Saturday. According to her, the police have searched the area, searched with a drone, obtained videos and carried out forensic investigations.
– We are in a mapping phase now. Before we can start a search, we need to know something about where we should start searching. We also check out addresses and have a survey at Skotfoss, says Sandersen, and says that they are working with several hypotheses without her wanting to go into what they entail.
This is the incident Sandersen is referring to, as it was discussed on X Saturday.
– The police are at Skotfoss following reports of a woman walking around outdoors with a hammer. The woman is brought in. The police are investigating whether there has been an argument at an apartment ahead.
