In mid-April, a red sales van appeared at the bus terminal at Tangvall, right next to the “Thai van” that has been staying here for a few years. The message on the red wagon clearly stated that it was opening on Friday. A few days after the opening, the owner, Catalin Parcea himself is in place after a couple of days off, but he has already noted that the opening has been well received by the residents of the district.

– I have long thought that Søgne was a good area to sell pizza. For over three years I have been looking for suitable space for a sales van, now it finally worked out, says Parcea to N247.

Fourth sale

Vogna in Søgne is number four for Parcea’s company Pizza Show, which previously had outlets in Dvergsnes, Lund and Vågsbygd.

– The start-up in Søgne has been very good with a lot of sales right from the first day. At the weekend, 200 to 250 pizzas went out daily, he says and adds that he is now very excited about the coming weekend.

According to the owner, he bought sales vans from Pål Lidi and started selling pizza on the square in Kristiansand in 2017. The latest turnover figure should be in the amount of NOK 20 million annually.

– We sell mostly from our website, where you can also state the waiting time, and we also offer home delivery in the local area at a “reasonable price”, says Catalin Parcea before he has to step behind the counter and take orders from waiting customers.
