Here someone steals the food box that stood outside the door of the Skjerping family (!) in Sandefjord. The homeowner offers to cook dinner if the thief returns the food.

It was Sandefjords Blad that mentioned the case first, and there too Eirik Styve Skjerping (48) made the generous offer. But so far he hasn’t heard anything.
– You invite to dinner?
– If he comes with the box, I will cook. I hope he enjoys the dishes, says Skjerping to VG.
It was Sunday evening, just before 11 p.m., that the culinary thief was on the move.
– It seems that he had camouflaged himself well and hid his face. I have another camera by the front door, but the person there was so fast that he got out of the camera zone before the recording started. He seemed relatively driven, says Skjerping.
In the video, the thief can be seen walking towards the house with specific steps, lifting the box and hurrying out the driveway. At the end he runs.
Skjerping has had food boxes delivered to his door for several years, but this is the first time he has experienced the food being stolen. The content was a weekly menu for a family of four.
But the 48-year-old is grateful that it was, after all, just a box of food.
– Now it’s almost just a good story about a box of food that disappears. You hear of others who come home and find that their clothes and things that mean a lot have been stolen. A food box is annoying, but replaceable, concludes Skjerping, who has reported the matter to the police.
The chef, who delivered the lunch box, states that it is very rare for lunch boxes to be stolen.
– Fortunately, it is not a widespread problem. We have only received feedback about thieves on two occasions in the eight years we have delivered food boxes. But it is
in any case, terribly boring for those who experience this, and we will of course make contact to follow up the incident, says general manager Rikke Mørck Os to Sandefjords Blad.
