Science and technology: A total of 58 development projects receive money. Aller goes to Viken Vocational School and Rogaland Vocational School. They receive NOK 11.1 and NOK 9.7 million, respectively.

– The aim is increased quality in the teaching, better learning for the students and that the educations should be even more relevant to working life, says Research and Higher Education Minister Oddmund Hoel (Sp) in a press release.

Vocational schools offer higher vocational education.

A number of subject areas receive support, but health and welfare subjects and technical subjects receive the most.

– There is a great need for people with higher vocational education. We have increased the number of study places, but it is equally important to strengthen the quality of the educations, says Hoel.
