Inside, the interior is both stylish and futuristic, with thoughtful details. The ergonomically designed interior includes black sports seats made of vegan leather. The front seats have six-way electric adjustment for the driver, and four-way electric adjustment for the front passenger. The 360-degree panoramic camera provides a full overview for safe maneuvering of the car.

Intelligent and efficient

The BYD Dolphin is equipped with the innovative Blade battery that provides revolutionary safety, durability and performance. The battery has passed extreme penetration tests, without emitting high heat or developing a fire. As well as being both ultra-safe and highly durable, the Blade battery is uncompromising in performance, delivering a high current density that offers the benefit of low energy consumption.

Like the BYD Atto3, the Dolphin is built on BYD’s intelligent e-Platform 3.0, which offers intelligent technology for optimal system efficiency and vehicle intelligence.

BYD’s self-developed 8-in-1 electric powertrain integrates vehicle control unit, battery management system, power distribution unit, drive motor, motor controller, gearbox, DC-DC and built-in charger. This integrated technology has been developed to deliver optimal performance and a better driving experience.

Efficiency is the focus of the BYD Dolphin, and it is equipped with a highly efficient integrated heat pump. This system contributes to increased thermal efficiency, especially in winter, and uses residual heat from the surroundings, drivetrain and batteries to maintain a good range at low temperatures.
