Halden became the new hometown of Per Sandberg (63) and his ex-girlfriend Bahareh Letnes (33) in 2019. The house, which was built in 1969, is located in the Gimle area of Halden.

It has a living area of 312 square meters (primary room) and five bedrooms. The plot is 1469 square meters.
Sandberg, who is currently driving around Asia on a motorbike, says that the asking price for the home is in excess of four million.
Started bar together
Sandberg resigned as fisheries minister in 2018, after a controversial Iran holiday with his ex-girlfriend Bahareh Letnes, where he broke a number of security procedures during the visit.
The couple then settled in Halden, where they opened the bar Grand Bar together in May 2020. After a tough opening period with a pandemic and tough economy, they managed to turn the tide, and in 2022 they delivered a result of over two million plus.
But last year Letnes and Sandberg decided to go their separate ways, after five years as lovers.
It became known that it was Letnes who was to take over the day-to-day running of the bar, despite the fact that Sandberg was still to be part of the company.
In December, Dagbladet Børsen wrote that the bar had to be closed after a water leak. Now it appears that the bar may have to be demolished after the damage from the water leak.
– The roof, wall and floor are damaged. The leak came from two bedrooms upstairs – the hotel is above the bar, after all. So the bar will probably be demolished in January, Letnes told Se og Hør in December and elaborated:
– It is not completely decided yet, it is the home owner who decides. I have nothing to do with the building, but I have found a temporary solution to be open at Christmas.
