As the only one with 6+1 straight, the man secured the entire first prize pot of NOK 147,485,200, writes Norsk Tipping in a press release.
He had the entire series of 20, 21, 22, 30, 34 and 43, as well as the Viking number 3.
Norsk Tipping announces on Wednesday evening that the lucky winner is from Western Norway.

The man had not had time to check his coupon, and was unaware of the message that was waiting.

He could tell that he is not a regular Viking lotto player, and that it was actually completely coincidental that he delivered a coupon just today.
– I’m a bit in shock right now. It is an unreal message and a lot to take in.
Now he will spend Easter letting the good news sink in and figuring out what he wants to spend the money on.
This is the 15th largest prize that Norsk Tipping has paid out. For Vikinglotto, this is the 10th biggest prize of all time.
So far in 2024, the first prize in Vikinglotto has been paid out three times, and all times it has gone to winners in Norway.
