He got his first Russian card when he was a baby.
Since then, Andreas has been hooked.
The last time he counted, he had 15,000 Russian cards, but lately he has received so many that he has lost count.
For Andreas, russet time is one of the great highlights of the year, on a par with Christmas and birthdays. If not bigger.
And this year, Russian time is extra special – because this year Andreas, who has a disability, is Russian himself.
The dream of rolling
– It’s very funny. I wish I could be Russian every year, he says as the smile goes around.
Andreas is not on the Russebuss, but twin sister Karianne posted a post on Facebook, where she asked if someone could surprise him with rolling.
At the same time, she asked if anyone had Russian cards and Russian effects.
The response died down.
On the first day, she received over 300 inquiries from Russians who wanted to contribute.
– It completely took off. There were Russian cards in the mail every day. He was really happy about it, and it did something for the whole boy, says Karianne.
And then the big dream of rolling became reality. Because a bus with girls contacted and invited Andreas.
– It was very nice of the girls to ask if he wanted to join. I think he was very handsome, says Karianne.
-10 out of 10!
On Saturday evening, Andreas rolled for several hours with the girls from Sentrum upper secondary school and Øvrebyen upper secondary school in Kongsvinger.
Andreas had a great time in the Palazzo bus. The highlight was when the girls put on Ole Ivars.
– Then I danced with the girls. This was 10 out of 10, says a very satisfied Andreas.
And yes, of course Andreas has his own Russian card this year:
Have you collected Russian cards?
Hello, still collecting, the most important happening of the year on May 17, that!
