Leah Behn in Ingrid Alexandra’s footsteps

Leah Behn’s (19) Russian group, Eight, won the award for “Concept Group of the Year” at Landstreff Stavanger’s award ceremony.

The girls from Oslo received the prize for, among other things, daring to do the little extra, according to the jury.

It further states:

“The girls stood on stage during the Year’s Hjemmesnekk with their heads held high, and after this success have made many others happy along the way. The group didn’t stop their music career at ÅHS either, but released a new song just before LS, which hit just as well as the previous one, ‘Hjemmeslay’!’

Leah herself has been involved in both writing and singing the group’s songs.

There are now two Russkåring winners in the royal family.

Last year, cousin Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s (20) bus won the “Russedress Bus of the Year”, made by the company Russedress.

– This year we named four great winners. We obviously think it’s very nice that Ingrid Alexandra is a member of one of the winners, and we congratulate both her and the other winners from the bottom of our hearts, said Knut Lyngstad from Russedress to Se og Hør at the time.
