Prince Harry, King Charles | King Charles has no time for Prince Harry: – He is scratching at the door

--

These days, Prince Harry (39) is in London in connection with the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, which the prince founded in 2014.

The prince has made the trip across the pond from his home in California, where he usually lives with Duchess Meghan and their two children.

While Prince Harry is in London, no time has been set aside to meet his father, King Charles (74).

A spokesperson for Prince Harry has confirmed that the two will not meet, as the king is too busy.

– The Duke of course understands that his father has a wide range of commitments and other priorities, and hopes to meet him soon, says the spokesperson.

The statement has sparked reactions, and Nettavisen’s royal house expert believes this is a strategic move by Prince Harry, and an attempt to create buzz and gain more sympathy.

– Likes to be a victim

If this had been a completely normal family, you might be surprised that a father does not make time for his son. But it becomes quite a different matter when it comes to the British royal family, according to Tove Taalesen.

– The relationship between Charles and Harry is not good. And it’s not like King Charles is clearing the program, says the royal house expert.

In recent years, the relationship between Harry and Charles has cooled, but that is probably not the only reason why the two are not reunited in London now.

Taalesen says that the calendars and programs of the royals are often nailed down one to two years in advance, and that it is not just for Charles to weave the youngest son into today’s program.

The British royal house has not commented on the London visit of the prince, nor the statement from Harry’s spokesperson. Nettavisen’s royal house expert believes that the prince is once again playing the role of victim.

– He creates on the doorstep. He likes to be a victim, she says, adding that Harry has long since lost touch with the ground.

Despite the hectic schedule, Taalesen believes that it is highly unlikely that father and son will meet outside the royal program and have, for example, a quick dinner in London.

– I have no faith in that. Harry wants to be a victim and he goes right into the victim role.

The king takes no damage

Ever since his coronation last May, the popularity of King Charles has increased considerably with the British people.

In a recent survey by The Daily Mail, 56 percent answered that they were satisfied with the king. This is an increase from last year, when less than 49 per cent answered the same.

Taalesen does not believe that the headlines of the last few days will affect the king in any way, and she believes that only the prince has anything to lose from the statement.

– In Great Britain, loyalty is with the king, and now also with Camilla. They have really established a solid role, she says.

She adds that the British people still feel sorry for Prince Harry and that he will always be remembered for the photos from Diana’s funeral when he was only twelve years old. But in recent years, this pity has shifted.

– But when Harry time and time again makes bad decisions and has chosen to remove himself from London and Great Britain, then it is clear that the loyalty lies with Charles.

It hasn’t been long since Prince Harry was in London, but last time it was under far more serious circumstances. Prince Harry rushed to Britain to meet his father after the king’s cancer diagnosis became known. Several British media have written that the family meeting supposedly only lasted 45 minutes before Harry left for the United States.

Last week, King Charles returned to work. According to a statement from the court, the king’s physician has seen good results from the cancer treatment. It is not known what type of cancer King Charles has.

The criticism hails both ways

On Wednesday, the 39-year-old will give a speech during a ceremony in St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is not expected that any of Harry’s family members will be present, according to the Independent.

Although Nettavisen’s royal house expert believes it is not quite so dramatic that the king has a full schedule and will not meet Harry, others have reacted. Several have taken to social media to discuss the latest developments in the family drama, and there are divided opinions.

Piers Morgan is a well-known opponent of the Duke and Duchess and he has on a number of occasions hurled harsh criticism their way. This time is no exception.

– Breaking news: King Charles can’t find time in his schedule to meet his treacherous youngest son, Morgan slices on https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/1787854589384863873.

There are several people who support the king and believe that the prince can thank himself after he made harsh accusations about his father and stepmother, Camilla, in his book “Spare”.

But there are also several who butcher King Charles as a father figure, and some believe that he has always put Camilla higher than his sons.

– For a 75-year-old man with cancer, he is still the same pathetic coward who betrayed Princess Diana, writes another https://twitter.com/sussexopulence/status/1788043708484534512formerly called Twitter.
