Actress Jennifer Garner (51) has lost her father, William John Garner. He lived to be 85 years old. The actor shares it on Instagram on Monday.
“My father fell asleep peacefully on Saturday afternoon. We were with him and singing Amazing Grace when he left us,” she writes initially in the post, along with a number of family photos.

“Although there is no tragedy in the death of an 85-year-old man, who lived a healthy and wonderful life, I know that grief is inevitable.”
Jennifer grew up in West Virginia with her mother Patrica Ann Garner, and sisters Melissa and Susannah.
The 51-year-old is known from the films “Juno”, “Valentine’s Day” and “13 Going on 30”.
