Easter means a holiday for many Swedes – also for the royal family. And according to Svensk Damtidning, the royal calendar is completely empty until April 6.
As you know, most Swedes celebrate Easter a week later than us.
Sharing new photo
On Easter Sunday, the king and queen shared an Easter greeting from their beloved Storlien, where they usually celebrate Easter.
Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia pose in front of a snow-covered forest with a clear blue sky. We can’t see any smile in the picture. But we have to believe they are enjoying themselves in the beautiful weather.
There is a particular detail that stands out in the picture.
Everyone reacts to Silvia’s clothes. The queen is wearing a blue ski suit that someone with a trained eye might recognize.
It seems as if it is the same suit that she wore during the skiing holidays in the mountains in both 1988 and 1994.
“It’s not impossible. The queen reuses a lot of her clothes. It’s sustainable and good,” says the court’s information manager Margareta Thorgren in an interview with Expressen.
No, the court’s information manager is actually not wrong when she says that it is not impossible that it is the same suit. Silvia is, just like Crown Princess Victoria, known for reusing clothes.
– Makes him very sad
Svensk Damtidning has reported, among other things, that Silvia tends to wear the same dress several times, especially at the Nobel dinners.
