Influenser (31) died suddenly

Elena Larrea founded the company Cuacolandia in Mexico in 2017, with the aim of saving horses, donkeys and mules from abuse and neglect.

Now she is dead, just 31 years old, writes People.

Larrea had more than 520,000 followers on Instagram, where she diligently shared photos from the job she loved – rescuing horses.

She died as a result of a blood clot in the lung, it says.

It is her company that first shared the sad news.

“It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Elena Larrea, manager and founder of Cuacolandia, has unfortunately passed away. We will remember, and continue to work on, everything she so bravely works for. We will continue her work and ensure that all horses, donkeys and mules have a safe place in Mexico,” the statement reads.

Furthermore, they honor Larrea for all that she was.

“We thank you for all the love and dedication. We wish you eternal rest and peace. We will miss you”.

After her passing became known, several friends have taken to social media to mourn the loss.

“You left a beautiful mark on everyone we met, and you were an angel on earth to many. You will continue to inspire those of us who seek a better world for animals. Sleep well dear Elena”, writes the Mexican actress Sylvia Pasquel on Instagram.

“Our family sends our deepest condolences to our dear Elena. A warrior, and a brave, strong activist. She will be remembered for her passion and her hard work,” writes musician Rich Vagos.

As mentioned, the influencer dedicated his life to protecting the abused animals. Eventually, she also started OnlyFans to raise money to be able to maintain the operation of the company.
