Tone Damli launches jewelery collection

Dit’s a feeling Miami gives me when I’m there, says Tone Damli (36).

– As if they are something very special with the atmosphere; The colours, the climate, the palm trees, the beaches, the food. I feel at home.

Had a surprising revelation a few years ago

“The Magic City” is the starting point when the artist now launches a jewelery collection in collaboration with the jewelery brand A&C Oslo.

– It reflects my style and who I am.

She herself has always been fond of jewellery.

– It’s a simple way to spice up an outfit. I’m a girl who prefers to dress in jeans and a t-shirt, and then it’s fun with accessories that show a bit, she continues.

– She became my savior

– I wear jewelery both on and off stage, and actually feel naked without it.

Tone Damli Aaberge became famous in “Idol” in 2005. She was then 16 years old. She has a meteoric career, and releases an album the same year.

Then it goes from blow to blow. But after she releases the Christmas album “Di første jul” in 2014, there is silence from the artist on the music front.

She prioritizes children and family.

In 2021, she will jump on the podcast wave with her own podcast: “Robbery with Tone”.

– There will be new music when I feel I have landed on the expression I want to go for. But I hope it won’t be too long, and I’m really looking forward to it, she says.

Outwardly, she appears as exuberant, but Tone has previously been open about the difficult time both growing up, and also recently during “Stjernekamp”.

– I think it’s about showing that I’m only human, after all. Like everyone else, I feel uncomfortable feelings. I think it might be good to show now and then.

She has been named Norway’s best-dressed woman several times, but describes her style journey as fierce.

Reveals details of the wedding

– I think it’s fun to look at how I looked, for example, during Idol. I felt good then, and that is the most important thing.

– I am concerned with trends, but not at any price. I wouldn’t wear something because it’s trendy. It has to feel good and right.

In November last year, her boyfriend Markus Foss got down on one knee. Where the two will marry is not known, but preparations are underway.

– Well underway and well underway. It’s a question of definition, laughs the artist, who admits that she is bad at planning.

– I don’t like it that much either, so I need help! But we have written a guest list then, and there will be many. And then we have identified a couple of places that we will look at very soon. That is the first priority now. After that, the rest can be arranged, Tone continues.

I think this is pure marketing

And the wedding dress?

– No, it is in no way in a box. I haven’t decided if I’m going to get one sewn or if I’m going to buy ready-made. But I have many thoughts about how the dress or dresses should look. If there is one thing that is certain, it is that it will not be minimalistic.

– Yes, because if there’s one time when it’s okay to go on a little spree, it must be when you get married!
