Ssupermodel Linda Evangelista (58) was one of the absolutely hottest supermodels of the 90s.
On Tuesday night, this year’s Met Gala took place in New York. There, the celebrities arrived on the runway in their most beautiful, wildest and most outrageous outfits. And Evangelista was one of those who showed up.
This is the first time the 58-year-old has appeared at the Met Gala since 2015, according to People. Evangelista was dressed in a long white dress, which was styled with matching shoes.
– In a class of its own
Evangelista was on “everyone’s” lips in the 80s and 90s. She started her modeling career already in her teens, and participated in Miss Teen Niagara in the early 80s. Since then, she has graced over 700 magazine covers.
But in 2016, Evangelista thought her modeling career was over for good.
After carrying out a so-called CoolSculpting, a type of fat removal without surgery, the body is said to have been “brutally deformed”. The treatments were carried out in 2015 and 2016.
KK has previously written about how she discovered hard dents and unevenness in several places on her body, including under her chin, on her thighs and around her breasts and back – the same areas she had wanted to reduce through fat freezing.
– I was brutally deformed. The treatment enlarged, not reduced, the fat cells, leaving me permanently disfigured, even after two painful, failed surgeries to correct the damage. I have become, as the media describes it, “unrecognizable”, she further explained in a post on Instagram.
