Princess Kate (42) made headlines around the world after it became known that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

On Friday, she shared a video announcement to her followers on social media in which she talked about the period of illness, and that she is now undergoing preventive chemotherapy.

It is unknown what type of cancer Princess Kate has.

Ahead of the news, however, there was more speculation about Kate’s life situation among the royal supporters, and the wildest theories abounded in social media.

Here – both known and unknown internet trolls – used the opportunity to create conspiracy theories or humorous content about the princess’s silence.

The lack of signs of life from the princess led to fans making so-called “memes” that Princess Kate had had a secret baby or that she was locked against her will in the basement of Buckingham Palace.

A hair crisis and a secret trip to the moon were also among the wild speculations on social media.

The flood of rumors reached its peak after the princess shared a retouched family photo with her three children, which she later apologized for on Instagram Story.

Apologizes after Kate joke

One person who has caught on to the countless theories is Kim Kardashian (43). In a photo carousel, the reality star shares a series of selfies with the following text: “On my way to look for Kate”.

The caption did not go unnoticed by the royal fans, who have flocked to the comments section to ask the reality star to remove the “stick” against the princess following the cancer announcement.

“You should probably remove this now,” writes one follower under the post.

“Now you have to take it down, she has fucking cancer,” writes another Instagram user.

Several also point out that the joke is “tasteless” now that it is known why she has been away from the media’s spotlight.

Explains the absence

“After the news that she has cancer has been revealed, you really should take this down. It’s extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology,” one user wrote.

“I guess you found her in the chemo ward, Kim. Your caption is distasteful,” writes another Instagram account.

“She’s recovering from major surgery! Have some respect,” writes a third under Kardashian’s photos.

A number of Instagram users are also asking Kardashian to apologize to Princess Kate. At the time of writing, however, the reality star has not commented on the criticism.
