With almost 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, the founder of the consulting company Electric Vehicles Outlook has become both a car celebrity and a regular feature as program host at the Electric Vehicle Association’s Nordic EV Summit.

– We must dare to take the fight

From entrepreneur Richard Branson to Formula 1 legend Alan Prost and Renault boss Luca de Meo – he gets the right people talking about electrification with each other.

But one person he would like to spend a couple of hours with is Donald Trump.

– Being there with people who are not overly aware of electrification is the job we must focus on going forward. In other words, having the difficult conversations with those who do not believe that this is the way to go – and Trump is one of them.

Tipping point for the electric car

Raised in the small town of Brackley a stone’s throw from the legendary Silverstone race track and the Rolls-Royce factory, Roger admits to a penchant for Formula 1 racing, but adds:

– I’m probably a former petrolholic who has undergone rehab, Roger grins.

Now Roger is putting all his energy into the electric shift, and he has strong opinions about how to achieve it.
