Judge Juan Merchan fined the former president for violating an order not to attack witnesses, jurors and others connected to the criminal case against him.

The judge believes that Trump’s statements on social media violated this order. Trump has posted ten posts on social media that the prosecutor believes are in violation of the muzzle.

Prosecutor Chris Conroy expressed that the penalty should be a fine of 1,000 dollars for each violation – almost 11,000 Norwegian kroner.

Donald Trump is on trial in the so-called “hush money case”, for having tried to hide a money transfer to his lawyer at the time, Michael Cohen.

The money went to porn actress Stormy Daniels, allegedly so that she would keep quiet about having sex with Trump in a hotel in 2006.

The ex-president denies criminal guilt. He also denies having had a relationship with Daniels.
