NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is in Kyiv and admits that the NATO countries have been too bad in supplying weapons to Ukraine, writes Dagens Næringsliv.
– The Ukrainians pay the price with their lives when the weapons are not delivered. And we will all pay a much higher price if Putin is not stopped, Stoltenberg said at a press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyj, according to the newspaper.
He added at the same time that it is not too late for Ukraine to win.
– We discussed how to strengthen support for Ukraine. I was also honest with Zelenskyj that allies in recent months have not delivered what we promised. The US has spent six months agreeing on an aid package and European allies have also failed to deliver what they promised. But now I am sure that NATO will deliver, says Stoltenberg.
