The courtroom is located on Orientkaj in the north-east of Copenhagen. The building was cordoned off after the police received the threat, but the cordons will be removed on Friday afternoon. Among other things, the police used bomb dogs when they went through the building.

– The search has now ended, and nothing suspicious has been found. The restrictions are gradually lifted. The investigation into the case continues and we do not have any further information, https://twitter.com/KobenhavnPoliti/status/1783813529989984496.

The police inform Ritzau that the threat came over the phone, but they have not wanted to say anything more about the content of the threat or the motive behind it. No one has been arrested.

According to Danish TV 2, 26 cases were scheduled for Friday, among them cases about parental rights, drugs, weapons and a case in which a 17-year-old who has been sentenced to prison for having promoted a neo-Nazi terrorist group, is asking to be acquitted.

People initially gathered outside the building, but were then asked to move to a nearby hotel. The evacuation itself went undramatically, a lawyer who was at work in the court tells Ritzau.

– The prosecutor was starting his procedure when the court session was interrupted, and we were told over the loudspeakers to leave the building, Berit Ernst tells the news agency.
