Marcus Gunnarsen (22) and Martinus Gunnarsen (22) have been called traitors and country traitors because they represent Sweden in Eurovision.

– For example, we are called the “Quisling brothers” and things like that. We think we are way over the line, says Martinus Gunnarsen in the duo Marcus and Martinus to Aftenposten.

The comment they are referring to was written by Ralf Lofstad in Dagbladet.

He opens his announcement of the artists’ “Unforgettable” with: “And now: The brothers Qui …, excuse Marcus & Martinus.”

– It’s ugly, says Martinus.

Lofstad tells Aftenposten that it is meant to be humorous, and that he takes note that not everyone likes the joke.

Although this year they represent the neighboring country, they want to represent Norway sometime in the future.

– Of course we want to. It is our home country, says Marcus.

This is what Marcus and Martinus are asked the most about on the red carpet before Eurovision in Malmö:
