Now they need your help.
Last year, Mediaforum was able to report a record number of applicants to the Medieprisenes jury. It is now open to new applicants.
– We are betting that we will bring both experienced jury members and fresh faces. We have with us four solid jury leaders, who ensure that we get well-composed juries and quality in the jury work, says head of the Media Award Jorun Thue in a press release.
Network building
The categories to be judged are media creativity, media strategy, media effect and media campaign.
Mediaforum has a new board
– This is an excellent opportunity to increase skills, build networks and make some new friends, adds Thue.
Jury general Torstein Rafgård encourages everyone who is professionally engaged to apply for a place on one of the juries.
– We will have as many as between 40 and 50 jury members in place for this year’s competition and although the eye of the needle may seem narrow, a good and committed application will give you a great opportunity to be selected. I have never met anyone who has not benefited professionally and personally from being part of the jury in the Media Prize, so do not hesitate to submit an application, says Rafgård in the press release.
A new jury leader is in place
After many years as jury leader for Mediefekt, Sten Bråthen (EssenceMediacom) passes the baton on to Thomas Faye Willoch (Transact Norway). Willoch also sits on Mediaforum’s specialist group.
The media award is the industry’s longest-running case competition.
The prize is awarded during the Media Conference, which this year lands on Thursday 24 October.
After the pandemic and a scaled-down version of the conference last year, Mediaforum promises that this year it really will be “Andre Boller” again.
– We will be back in full force, with both daytime and evening events. Without revealing too much, we promise many exciting professionally inspiring lectures, and an unforgettable evening where we honor all the submitted contributions that come across our industry, concludes Scekic.
