Todd Blanche, one of Donald Trump’s lawyers, says they are trying to get the case thrown out after the testimony of Stormy Daniels on Tuesday.
– Much of the certificate today is completely different from what she told in 2016, he says.
The reason is that the testimony allegedly exceeded the limits set by the court.
Judge Juan Merchan, on the other hand, says that it is not appropriate to dismiss the trial.
Trump stared straight ahead as Daniels entered the courtroom. As she approached the witness box, he turned his head slightly in her direction.
Daniels began by telling about a difficult upbringing and how, at the age of 21, she became a nude model and later an actress in a number of porn films.
Eventually, the prosecutor began asking questions about her meeting with Trump at a golf tournament in 2006. Daniels claims the two had sex in a hotel that same night, which Trump denies.
– It was a very short meeting, Daniels said in court, according to CNN.
She further says that it was after she had been to the bathroom that she was met by a scantily clad Trump.
– Then I felt that the room was spinning. I thought: “My God, what did I get wrong here?”.
Trump is said to have been wearing boxer shorts and a T-shirt.
– The intention was quite clear, she said.
