Criteria for the shop steward award
Trustee of the year must have excelled positively as a shop steward this year. He or she must be someone who takes extra good care of their members and represents Delta in an excellent way.
Emphasis is placed on the following criteria:
- Skilled and professional as a shop steward
- Has shown initiative and creativity in the performance of the position
- Has contributed to membership growth
- Has marked Delta in a positive way either in the business and/or in the media
- Has good relations with the employer
- Has contributed to creating a good environment among union representatives and members in the local section
Criteria for the employer award
Employer of the year must have excelled positively as an employer, ensured co-determination and set an example for others to follow.
The jury and the executive board must emphasize these factors:
- Respect for the employees’ right to co-determination
- Good cooperation with the employees and their organisations
- Willingness to delegate responsibility
- Investment in skills development and continuing education
- Open and good internal information
- Good follow-up of the provisions of the Working Environment Act
- Respect for concluded collective agreements
- Active follow-up of the IA agreement and HSE work, including having developed and
implemented a good senior policy - Training places/apprenticeships
Who chooses the winner?
There is one jury for each of the prizes. Members from Delta’s executive board sit on the juries.
When will they get the prize?
The prizes are awarded at Delta’s board of representatives in November.
