On Saturday afternoon, the police reported that they were on their way to a traffic accident in Indre Østfold.
In the first report, the police write that a motorcycle and a car were involved, but it turns out that the motorcycle has probably overturned just before it met the car.
– The MC driver was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by a doctor in the ambulance. The deceased is a boy in his teens with a driver’s license for a light motorcycle. The road will be closed in connection with the investigation, with a detour sign, the police said at 1.33pm.

Both VG, Dagbladet and TV 2 write that the deceased is a 16-year-old.
At 14.16 the police write that, for the time being, the immediate investigation indicates that the motorbike has probably overturned just before meeting the passenger car and that there has been no contact between the vehicles.
East 110 central reported at 12.37 that the fire service had moved to Hølandsveien in Trøgstad. According to the road traffic centre, the road is closed past the accident site.
– The road will remain closed for a longer period. Forensic technicians and the accident team of the Swedish Road Administration are on their way, the police say at 2.23 pm.

– This is terribly tragic. My thoughts go out to the relatives and those close to me. But it affects the whole local community when things like this happen, says mayor of Indre Østfold Saxe Frøshaug (Sp) to VG.
When the emergency services were notified of the accident, it was reported that the MC driver was unconscious. The driver, a woman in her 40s from Indre Østfold, has not been charged with the accident. Her driver’s license has not been confiscated either.
According to VG, it is about a 16-year-old boy.
