According to Warwick Davis, his wife, whom he refers to as his “favourite person”, died on 24 March.
– I miss her hug, says the film star in his statement about the death and continues:
– She was a unique person who always saw the good in life. She had a good sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes.
Warwick Davis and Samantha Davis met way back in 1988 during the filming of the movie “Willow” and were married three years later.
They had two children together, and the children are also understandably devastated by the loss of their mother.
– She is our best friend. Her love and joy have carried us throughout our lives, say the children, named Harrison and Annabelle.
Samantha Davis was known for her roles in “Through the Dragon’s Eye”, “ShortFellas” and “Honky Sausages”.
She suffered from achondroplasia – also called – dwarfism. A disease which means that you are not very tall and that your arms and legs are shortened in relation to the length of your body.
She underwent countless operations throughout her life as a result of the disease, and in 2018 she had to be hospitalized with blood poisoning due to complications from one of these operations.
Warwick Davis also suffers from dwarfism.
However, he is affected by the rarer spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, which is a congenital disease of the skeleton.
Hans and Samantha Davis’ two children have inherited this disease.
