The event will be hosted by the Oak Ridge Rowing Association.
With eight boats in total set to race during the regatta, competition begins at 5 pm ET. The first race of the day will be a Tennessee versus Tennessee exhibition, with the Lady Vols’ 4V and 5V boats set to face off. Then, beginning at 5:12 pm will be Tennessee’s 2V4+, 3V4+, 2V8+, 3V8+, 1V4+ and 1V8+ boats in 12-minute-interval start times.
Race results will be posted throughout the evening on Tennessee rowing’s X/Twitter. The regatta is free for all fans and the shoreline along the lake offers plenty of prime viewership areas to watch the races. Parking and quick access to the shoreline can be found at the Oak Ridge Rowing Association (697 Melton Lake Dr, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
In Wednesday’s latest Pocock CRCA coaches poll, Tennessee checked in at No. 16
On March 12, Tennessee graduated coxswain Sasha Radovanovic and junior rower Alice Fahey were each included on the CRCA’s Inaugural Athletes to Watch listing.
