Alpine star couple Mikaela Shiffrin (28) and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (30) came together for the “TIME100” gala.

Mikaela Shiffrin made history when she took her 88th win in the World Cup this winter. That’s a record number. The American also has seven World Cup and two Olympic gold medals. Many consider her the alpinist of all time.

After the adventurous winter, Shiffrin was named to the list of the 100 most influential people of 2023 by Time Magazine. It’s a big magazine in the US.

Late on Wednesday Norwegian time, the “TIME100 Gala” was organized for the stars in New York, more precisely Frederick P. Rose Hall in Lincoln Center.

Both Shiffrin and Kilde have shared glimpses of the evening on Instagram.

“It was sooooo surreal to meet so many incredible people,” Shiffrin wrote.

“What an evening,” Kilde wrote.

In the spring of 2021 it became known that Shiffrin and Kilde are a couple.

In addition to Shiffrin, Lionel Messi, who led Argentina to the World Cup triumph before Christmas, was on the list among athletes.

Basketball star Brittney Griner, Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes, PSG player Kylian Mbappé and tennis star Iga Swiatek were also picked.
