(Start-Ranheim 0–0 and Mjøndalen-Aalesund 1–1) Start and Aalesund would ideally be two of the big clubs in level two. Now they are respectively last and third last in the table.

The nightmare does not end for Aalesund, who have just one win after six games.

Earlier this week, goalkeeper coach Frank Mathiesen resigned after 34 years at the club.

The very next day it became clear that general manager Ronny Stokke was done with the club.

TV 2 reported dissatisfaction in the player group and revealed on Tuesday morning that there had been a meeting between the players and coach Christian Johnsen.

Meinhard Olsen gave Mjøndalen the lead on a penalty after just over a quarter of an hour of play. The referee pointed to the penalty mark after a situation between AaFK goalkeeper Sten Grytebust and Mjøndalen’s Alie Conteh.

Isaac Atanga brought the balance in the standings for Aalesund after a 65 minute game.

Very last

Start has no wins and is preferably last. 0-0 against Ranheim at home means that the yellow-blacks have three drawn games and as many losses so far.

Tom Strannegård dislocated his shoulder after just over half an hour of play against Ranheim. That meant a weakening of the Start team, which had to have defender Sivert Sira Hansen as a saving angel on the line twice.

On the other side, Mathias Grundetjern missed an open goal after a return from Ranheim goalkeeper Simen Vidtun Nilsen, who then gifted the ball to Start, without Alagie Sanyang being able to score.

The starting players had to endure hints of piping when the referee blew the whistle with 0–0.

Three 16-year-olds

Stabæk, on the other hand, are on a roll and won 5–0 over the leading team in the league before this weekend’s games, Kongsvinger.

It didn’t get any better for Kongsvinger when Harald Holter received a red card at the end of the 1st half.

Starbæk had three 16-year-olds from the start: Oskar Spiten-Nysæter, Sebastian Olderheim and Filip Jensen Riise.

Aleksander Andresen made it 1–0, Nicolai Næss 2–0 before Bassekou Diabate put in numbers three and four.

The American Thomas Roberts increased to 5–0, and Stabæk chose to settle for that.
