Athletics, Time | Undheim came out on top in the Holmenkoll Relay

--

A record number of participants was seen in this year’s Holmenkoll relay, which is being marketed by the organizer as the world’s largest race in 2024.

4,900 teams were registered for “spring’s most beautiful adventure”, according to Tjalve IL, which organized the running party with 73,000 stages through Oslo.

Undheim was well represented, with senior teams for women and men, and the team in the super veteran class that went to the top.

The super veterans spent 1:01:47 on the course that starts and ends at Bislett Stadium. Along the way they visited the university at Blindern, Holmenkollen and Frognerparken.

The time is 47 seconds faster than Sportsklubben Vidar in second place, and 1.41 minutes faster than the last team, Ullensaker/Kisa IL Friidrett.

The super veterans were only 13 seconds from running as fast as the seniors from Undheim. The women’s team finished in 01:12:41.

The elite team of Ull/Kisa won the men’s class with a time of 49:16. The elite team from IK Tjalve won the women’s class in a time of 58:13.
