It is the tabloid newspaper The Sun that writes that two players associated with a Premier League club are to be arrested and suspected of assault and rape.
The Daily Mail has also mentioned the matter.
One of the players must be suspected of assault and complicity in rape, while the other is suspected of rape. Both players must belong to the same club.
The alleged rape must have happened on Friday evening, writes The Sun. Both players are said to have been arrested at the stadium this weekend.
The Sun has been in contact with a spokesperson for the club.
– Since the matter is now in the hands of the police, the football club will not comment further at this stage.
The same newspaper reports that both players will be released on bail.
