Martin Ødegaard showed some magic when he served up Kai Havertz for Arsenal’s third goal of the evening. The Norwegian received the ball in his own half and found the German in the back room who sent in 3-0.

The match started with a bang when Leandro Trossard sent the hosts into the lead after just five minutes. Declan Rice released the ball to the Belgian at an excellent time and Trossard headed it home from an angle inside the box.
Five minutes later, another type of bang came which was sharply criticized by experts. Takehiro Tomiyasu was tagged by Chelsea player Nicolas Jackson, but the referee did not issue a card.

Nor OUR intervened in the situation. Tomiyasu apparently recovered from the incident unscathed and played until the 72nd minute. Jackson escaped with a free kick against him.
The rest of the first half was a tame affair – in stark contrast to what the home fans had in store after the break.

White got the ball rolling after 52 minutes. Rice’s attempt went into a Chelsea player, before White put the ball into the goal. About five minutes later, Ødegaard showed off his skills when he found Havertz to make it 3-0.

And then it just kept pouring in. Next on the list was Havertz. Again. Bukayo Saka played in for the German who, after two quick touches of the ball, scored his second of the evening. The game would also get its second two-goal scorer shortly afterwards. Ødegaard lifted the ball elegantly to White inside the box, who managed to make it 5-0.
Arsenal are fighting a fierce battle for the league title, and are now three points ahead of Liverpool, who have one less game played, and Manchester City, who have two games to spare.
Liverpool face Everton away on Wednesday, while City travel to Brighton on Thursday.
