It was on the German racetrack Hockenheimring that several thousand spectators witnessed 21-year-old Troy Beinlich’s nasty crash on Saturday.
The following day, the message came that the motorcyclist had died in the crash, reports German newspaper Bild, among others.
His club MSC Schleizer writes the following on Facebook:
“This incredibly sad news leaves us speechless.”
“We deeply sympathize and think of his family, team and friends and hope everyone finds strength in this incredibly difficult time.”

It was during the German Endurance Cup that the 21-year-old lost control of the vehicle after just over 200 laps.
It happened just in front of the biggest grandstand, where there were many children and young people, since everyone under the age of 15 entered the gates for free, writes Bild.
Beinlich is said to have moved immediately after he was hit by another motorcycle coming from behind, according to eyewitnesses at the scene.
As recently as last year, he is said to have also been involved in a serious accident around Easter time and sustained three fractures in his shoulder, among other things
His father is the boss of the Beinlich Racing Team.
