There is a lot of talk about the upcoming summer window during the day, where there could potentially be more changes in the United squad.

Samuel Luckhurst in the Manchester Evening News writes that United are targeting three key signings, and that the club will prioritize a centre-back, central midfielder and striker.

Subsidies in other positions will rather depend on sales and players who may disappear.

On Monday we mentioned the Telegraph’s case that United would be willing to listen to bids for the majority of the first-team squad.

Luckhurst also writes that, but according to his sources the club does not believe that there will be too many replacements due to the challenges of finding a market for several of the players.

However, Anthony Martial, Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton and Raphaël Varane are players who are out of contract and could disappear.

As for Varane, who is the most central piece in today’s United team of the four, Ten Hag also confirmed at a recent press conference that there has been no development regarding the Frenchman’s situation.

Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri, Alvaro Fernandez, Facundo Pellistri and Mason Greenwood are all loan players who have an uncertain United future at best.

In addition, the current contract of Victor Lindelöf, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Amad Diallo expires in the summer of 2025, and in that sense the club probably wants clarification on their future before the window closes.
