Comedian Marlene Stavrum (29) shares a picture from the hospital bed on Sunday. “Then I can cross off acid poisoning from the bucket list,” she writes.

Acid poisoning is a potentially life-threatening condition that can occur when you have too little insulin in your body and must be treated in hospital. It comes from a complication of diabetes, writes Helse Norge.

The 29-year-old tells TV 2’s “Good Evening Norge” that his form is now starting to improve after a couple of days.

– I have type 1 diabetes and use an insulin pump. Then it didn’t work as it should, so then you can get acid poisoning.

– I discovered it by vomiting continuously for several hours before I called an ambulance. I was then admitted to intensive care, given insulin and fluids intravenously, she adds.

On Instagram, Stavrum writes that she “finally tested whether the prince really cares”. The “prince” she refers to is her new boyfriend.
