Share purchases in the billions sent the stock soaring

Aker BP had revenues of 3.08 billion dollars in the first quarter, while profit after tax ended up at 531 million dollars.

– We delivered strong operating and financial results in the first quarter, says CEO Karl Johnny Hersvik in a message. The share nevertheless fell by 0.1 per cent and ended at NOK 277.70.

Tuesday evening updated Carasent targets for 2024, and on Wednesday morning the company presented its quarterly figures. The share went up 34.1 percent to NOK 14.75.

XXL fell 3.3 percent to NOK 0.79 after the company presented figures showing a loss of NOK 209 million in the first quarter. It is also worth noting that MPC Container Ships went up 13.8 per cent before the share ended at NOK 15.89.
