Abby Hensel has married

--

It was only in 1996 that the Siamese twin sisters Abby and Brittany Hensel (34) became known to the world when they were interviewed on “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. Later, in 2012, they got their own reality show called “Abby & Brittany”.

However, it only lasted for one season of the sisters’ TV series, and since then they have seemed to have sunk into the ground.

“Abby & Brittany” ended with the twins graduating from college where they studied to become teachers.

Now Today can reveal what the Hensel sisters’ lives look like today.

According to the magazine, Abby married military veteran and nurse Josh Bowling in 2021. This is revealed in documents that Today has obtained access to. Family and friends of the couple have also shared several photos from the wedding on social media.

Now the married couple and Brittany live in Minnesota, where the 34-year-olds were born and raised. There they work as teachers at a primary school, specifically for fifth graders, and have lived out of the spotlight for the past decade. However, they share life updates on their joint TikTok account.

Abby and Brittany have shared openly about life as Siamese twins, and the challenges that came with them when they came into the world in 1990.

The twins share an upper body, but each has a separate heart, stomach and lungs, and they control one arm and one leg each.

When they were born, parents Patty and Mike Hensel decided not to separate them, as it would be a risky operation. At the time, the doctors said that the chances of both of them surviving such an operation were slim.

– How could we choose between them?, said dad Mike to Time Magazine in 2001.

Dreamed of weddings and children

Mike was also able to share that the daughters had clear goals for the future, and that they dreamed of being able to get married one day.

– They are pretty girls. They are funny. They have everything, except that they are together, said the father in the same interview.
