For the past year, the southerner Simon Valvik has represented Durek Verrett and worked as his PR manager in Norway. Now the collaboration is over.
Valvik himself confirms this to Nettavisen.
– I no longer represent Durek Verrett. I don’t want to comment more than that, says Valvik to Nettavisen.

Valvik has represented Verrett as his manager since March last year, and has accepted all inquiries from journalists and media houses.
– It has been surreal
In February, Valvik gave an interview in the industry newspaper Medier24, where he described the last year as Verrett’s manager as surreal.
It is no secret that Verrett has attracted attention and made headlines in the press several times, and it is therefore Valvik who has had to deal with inquiries from journalists in the past year.
– It has been surreal. Sometimes journalists are the first thing I talk to in the morning, and the last thing I talk to before I go to bed, he told the newspaper.
Nettavisen has tried to get in touch with Durek Verrett, so far without success.
Created multiple headlines
As mentioned, Verrett has made several headlines in recent years, with both his controversial statements and inventions.
Among other things, he has received sharp criticism after mentioning suicide on his Instagram, where he he instructed parents on what to do if their children “act out and scream and are aggressive for no reason”.

Earlier this year, much was also written about the self-proclaimed shaman’s private sessions with clients.
Before you could book an appointment via the 49-year-old’s website, you had to accept a non-disclosure agreement and a health declaration, which, according to Dagbladet Børsen, stated that you agreed to the methods and techniques used by Durek Verrett.
The declaration, which is available on Verrett’s own website, states, among other things:
“This includes, but is not limited to, physical touch, energy healing, release of toxins (which may cause a physical reaction such as crying, vomiting, yawning, laughing, coughing, noise emission, screaming, etc.), energetic input or physical touch of your genitals or spinal electric shock treatment’.

The last time Verrett was observed was on the catwalk in connection with the fashion show for the clothing brand, Tell The Truth, at the weekend.
After he got engaged to Princess Märtha Louise, the 49-year-old has willingly posed for photographers several times in connection with various red carpets, and there is no doubt that Verrett enjoys being in front of the camera. Now he has also appeared on the catwalk.
According to Tell The Truth’s online store, the jacket Verrett is wearing is called the “Snake Skin Jacket” and costs no less than $1,200. The trousers are not available on the website.
Nettavisen does not know if this is Verrett’s debut on the catwalk.
