The websites of Arbeidstilsynet and BankID are both out of order on Wednesday morning. It happens, after the Russian hacker group KillNet announced a major computer attack on Wednesday morning.

Altinn writes on his website that “they experience instability”.

The group is a well-known pro-Russian player, which has been behind a number of computer attacks in support of the invasion of Ukraine.

On the social media Telegram, the group posted a picture of Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt with what looks like a Maleficent mask, from the Disney movie of the same name.

Killnet started the day with an emoji of a sun with a small cloud in front, and the text:

– Good morning Norway! All teams to attack!

The group claims they will attack the Police, BankID, the ID gate at Difi, Nav, UDI, the Directorate of Digitalisation and several other Norwegian websites and online services.
