The mountain Reinebringen at the municipal center Reine in Moskenes is a popular hiking destination

The peak is 448 meters above sea level.

The walk up is mostly paved like a “sherpa staircase”.

However, the upper part is not completely paved, and here the path is very worn and there are many loose stones.

The trip offers spectacular views of the Reinefjord and the Westfjord.

The Lofoten Outdoor Council does not recommend the trip for families.

The trail project has cost more than NOK 11 million and is a result of contributions from public agencies, businesses and private individuals.

In 2019, 86,000 crossings were registered to and from Reinebringen.

In 2020, the number was 47,000 crossings.
