Karl Jakob Helland saw with “Skråblikk på rocken i Fusa”. He narrated and sang many of the well-known hits that everyone who has been dancing at the venue recognised.
On the last three he brought Gunnar Engevik with him. There were many who dreamed back to “the last three” in a smoky and half-dark room. People enjoyed themselves and hummed along.

The Songs: Tore Johannes Matland and his wife Linda Cecilie Reigstad Matland dealt with “The Songs of Engel Hammersland”.
Tore Johannes Matland and his wife Linda Cecilie Reigstad Matland dealt with “Visene til Engel Hammersland”. Tore Johannes has collected most of what Engel wrote and set melodies to some of those that were not set to music.
Engel – “the filure” – as he himself said, was a subtle man who could be both ironic, sharp and soft with the pen. They also brought this out nicely by telling a little about Engel’s life.
Almost 90 people in the audience greatly appreciated the program.
The annual meeting was held according to the programme. Fusa senior university had good breadth in its programs in 2023. Here was everything from the green shift and the environment, about dialects and languages, Chernobyl, about Ingvar Moe, Oddny Miljeteig and the power market.
It is jammed with good visits. Halvor Folgerø’s program “Lifet på farlege vegar” was the most visited with 113 listeners. The fuses are concerned with road.
