It is the club that announces this in a press release.
The race is open to all types of vehicles that are over 30 years old. Last year, 150 vehicles lined up for the start.
The trail runs in scenic areas at a leisurely pace around Grenland, and the participants solve puzzles along the way. It is possible for the public to take a closer look at the vehicles at the posts, or along the road.
The start is from Gumpen Auto, between Skien and Porsgrunn, starting at 11.00, the club informs.
From Gumpen Auto, the trip goes towards Porsgrunn. At the PP center, the vehicles turn right, and continue over Ånnerød and Klyve, to Rødmyr and Fargerike C. Christoffersen to post 1.
From Rødmyr, the trip goes via Elstrømbrua to Gulsetsenteret for post 2.
The tour then continues along Hynivegen, over Hoppestad, Ås, Jønnevald, to Flittig Motorsport Center for post 3.
From Flittig the trip goes to Jønnevald and the bus garage of the Rutebilhistorisk Forening, and post 4.
The vehicles also visit the old Gjerpen old age and nursing home for post 5 before the participants drive into a folk festival in Brekkeparken from 12.30. Everyone is welcome!
– We drive into Brekkeparken and park on the freshly mowed lawns among newly sprouted tulips and beautiful flower beds. Here, the public has the opportunity to wander among beautiful vintage vehicles and reminisce a bit, says manager Jarle Rønjom of the Grenland veteran car club.
The award ceremony starts at approximately 3.30 pm.
