House prices in Stavanger rose by 1.6 per cent in April. Adjusted for seasonal variations, prices rose by 0.9 per cent.

Stavanger had a stronger seasonally adjusted development last month compared to Bergen (+0.8 per cent), Oslo (+0.8 per cent) and Trondheim (+0.2 per cent).

So far this year, house prices in Stavanger have risen by 9.0 per cent. It is weaker compared to Bergen (+9.4 per cent), but stronger than in Oslo (+6.7 per cent) and Trondheim (+5.5 per cent).

In April, 540 homes were sold in Stavanger. That is 50.8 per cent more compared to the same month in 2023. So far this year, 1,722 homes have been sold. That is 7.4 per cent more compared to the corresponding month last year.

In April, 560 homes were put up for sale in Stavanger, which is 12.9 percent more compared to the same month in 2023. So far this year, 1,833 homes have been put up for sale. This is 11.4 per cent more compared to the corresponding period last year.

The average sales time in Stavanger last month was 27 days. That is faster than the rest of the country, which had an average of 54 days.

The median home in Stavanger now costs NOK 3,900,000
