– This was fun! The overall tone was unequivocal among everyone who took part in the family day organized by Fana IL orientation on Sunday morning.
Here, the 90th anniversary of the Hut was celebrated at the same time as tour orientation for families and other interested parties was introduced. The tour-O season is now underway.
Around 90 young and old signed up, and ran or strolled around five different optional trails in Magnedilten, which are orientation runs suitable for beginners of all ages.
Several also walked around without signing up.
In addition, many of the children were keen participants in chip races. Some ran several times to beat their own time, which they had documented on a small piece of paper with times from post to post.
– Such a successful event must probably become a tradition. Magnedilten is a great hobby sport for younger cross-country skiers, just as Magne Raadal wanted it to be, says volunteer group leader and organizer Einar Nordås.
Winners of the main prizes were drawn and they were:
